Obituary of James Torlucci

James Torlucci, 88 - James Torlucci of Mendham passed away on Tuesday November 22, 2011 at the Center for Hope in Scotch Plains. Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 28, 2011 at The Dangler Funeral Home in West Orange, 340 Main Street at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visiting will be Sunday 3-7PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Center for Hope, 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076 or the Atlantic Health Care Hospice, 465 South Street, Morristown, NJ 07960. Mr. Torlucci was born in Newark and lived in Belleville and Bloomfield before moving to Mendham 19 years ago. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and worked as a Foreman at Keystone Folding Box Co. in Newark for 30 years. Mr. Torlucci was the beloved husband of the late Fay Torlucci (nee Preola). Devoted father of Deborah Torlucci and the late Catherine LaPenta and Donna Torlucci. Cherished grandfather of Mark, Joseph and Steven LaPenta and Valerie LaPenta-Steiger, and great-grandfather of 6.
