Obituary of Patrick James McNally

Patrick James McNally Sr. , 50 - Patrick "Pat" McNally of Verona passed away on Wednesday September 14, 2011 at his home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday September 17, 2011 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street at 9:00 Am. Then to Saint Catherine's Church, Prospect Ave. in Cedar Grove for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. Visiting will be Friday 1-4 & 6-9 PM. Mr. McNally was born in Newark and was raised in Irvington before moving to Verona 15 years ago. He was currently employed by the State of New Jersey, also owning and operating AM/PM Services in Verona. He was the former Essex County Clerk, as well as serving as Irvington Council President, Irvington Board of Education and an Irvington Fireman. Pat was the "Verona Slide King" in Verona Pool and an avid Yankee Fan. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the McNally Children Fund, c/o Maureen McGarrity, 1 Evelyn Road, Roseland, NJ 07068. Mr. McNally was the beloved husband of Anne McNally (nee Barbadyn). Son of the late Felix McNally Sr. and Margaret. Devoted father of Stephanie Ann, Patrick Jr., Joseph and Erin. Loving brother of Maureen McGarrity, Eileen McNally, Felix McNally, Stephen McNally and Megan Yard.
