Obituary of Anne Harris

Anne Harris, 89 Anne Harris (nee Milne), 89, of West Orange passed away on Sunday June 25, 2017. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 29, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in Anne's name to Alzheimer's Association Greater New Jersey Chapter 400 Morris Ave. Suite 251 Denville, NJ 07834-1365, and St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 14, Memphis, TN 38148-0142. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday June 30, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange. Cremation will be private. Anne was born in Orange, raised in Montclair and lived in Glen Ridge and West Orange. She was a secretary working for Island Heights Elementary School. She also worked for many years in the Glen Ridge School system and Seton Hall University. Anne was the beloved wife of the late John H. Harris. Cherished mother of Kathleen, John Jr., Ellen Schoch and her husband Daniel, Joseph and his wife Lisa, Andrew and his wife Diane and Nancy O'Reilly and her husband John. Dear sister of JoEllen Brown and the late Mary Magliaro. Loving grandmother of Danny and his wife Brooke Duffy, Emily and her husband Brian Vanderheiden, Paul, Brendan, Jacqueline, and Jack. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
