Obituary of Beverly DeMeo

Beverly Ann DeMeo, 79 Beverly Ann DeMeo, (nee Johnston), 79, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by the love of her family on March 20, 2017. Visitation will be held on Friday March 24, 2017 from 4-8 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday March 25, 2017 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, West Orange. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Beverly's name to; Serenity Hospice Care 56 Georgetown Road, Bordentown, NJ 08505. Beverly was a longtime resident of West Orange and a graduate of West Orange High School. She and her husband were the owners of the Wagon Wheel Luncheonette where they had lots of laughs while serving their customers In 1996 they both retired to toms River, New Jersey, where they enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and talking walks together on the Seaside Park Boardwalk. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Frederick DeMeo and her brother Thomas Johnston, her three children Anthony DeMeo, Arlene Menza and Ann DeMeo Vitiello. She was the loving daughter to the late Thomas and Margaret Johnston, the sister-in-law to the late Deputy Chief Leonard DeMeo, and the grandmother to the late Marissa Danielle Menza. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren; Gabrielle DeMeo, Anthony DeMeo, Joseph DeMeo, Joelle Menza, Anthony Varanelli, Gerard Varnelli, and Anthony Vitiello. She will be deeply missed.
