Obituary of Anthony G. Petrella

Anthony G. Petrella, age 101, of West Orange formerly of Cedar Grove, died on January 22. Born in Italy, Anthony proudly served 4 years of combat duty in the US Army and was a POW in Germany during World War II. He was the owner of Tony's Barber Shop in Cedar Grove and retired at age 90. Anthony was the beloved husband of the late Elma Petrella (nee Pomponio), devoted father of Anthony D. and Salvatore, and brother of Aldo, the late Concezio and the late Angelo. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday January 27 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 52 Totowa Road in Totowa at 12 noon.
