Lucia Valentini, 81 Lucia Valentini (nee Metta), 81, of West Orange passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 7, 2015 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange from 4 to 8 PM. Funeral services offered on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Saint Giles Chapel at Restland Memorial Park, 77 Deforest Road in East Hanover at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Lucia was born and raised in Orange and lived in West Orange before moving to Pine Brook one year ago. She was a Hair Stylist, owning and operating Lucia & Val's Hair Styling for Men & Women in West Orange for many years. Lucia was the beloved wife of 58 years of Edmond "Val" Valentini. Devoted mother of Sabina Cappiello , Joseph Valentini and his wife Sharon, Connie Mauriello and her husband Joseph, Gina Lucarella and her husband John, and Lucia DeFilippo and her husband Dean. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Mark Cappiello. Loving sister of Theresa Fioretti, and the late Frank, Sal, and Mike Metta. Cherished grandmother of Marc, Anthony, Danny, Michael, Bianca, Gianna, Joseph, Joe, Michael, Lucia, Luke and Olivia. Loving great grandmother of Daniel and Leonardo.
