Obituary of Mary Ann Rooney

Mary Ann Rooney, 83 Mary Ann Rooney (nee Donovan),83, of West Orange passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street at 8:30 AM, followed by the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be held on Friday from 6 to 9 PM. Mrs. Rooney was born in Newark and was raised and a lifelong resident of West Orange. She was a legal secretary working for Ciarroca & Ciarroca in Union for many years. Mary Ann was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Rooney. The devoted mother of Kathleen Rooney and her husband Heriberto Negron Jr., loving sister of the late Dolores Luciano and Florence Coleman. Cherished grandmother of Kayla and Kaitlyn, she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Type Obit Here
