Michael Nunzio Cardinale, 84 Michael Cardinale, 84 , of West Orange passed away on Monday, August 10, 2015. A 10:00 AM Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at St. Joseph's Church, 44 Benvenue in West Orange, then to Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. Arrangements are entrusted to The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St., West Orange. Michael was born and raised in Newark, moving to West Orange 41 years ago. He was an Electrical Plant Engineer working for Beecham Labs in Piscataway. Mr. Cardinale proudly served in the United States Navy for 4 years during the Korean War, as an Electrician 1st Class. Upon discharge he attended night classes for 8 years to earn his Electrical Engineering Degree from NJIT. Michael was the beloved husband of 59 years of the late Tina Mary Cardinale (nee Ferruggia), who passed away 7 weeks ago. Devoted father of Carole Cardinale and her husband Dan Himmelfarb, Janet Cardinale and her husband, Robert Colella, and the late Michael "Mickey" Cardinale, and Peter Gerard Cardinale. Cherished grandfather of Sam, Joe, and Lizzie. .
