August "Gus" Thomas Marchese Sr., 87 August Thomas Marchese Sr., 87, of West Orange passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June3, 2015 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange at 8:30AM. Then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. He was the Senior Vice-President of PNC Bank in Orange. He graduated from Rutgers University in Newark with as a Business Major. Gus was past Treasurer and on the Board of Directors for Orange Memorial Hospital, a member of the Orange Elks for over 40 years, the Orange Lions Club, and the Orange Chamber of Commerce. August was the beloved husband of 62 years of the late Mercedes "Sis" Marchese (nee Koch). Devoted father of August Jr. And his wife Ahou, Anthony and his wife Mary Grace, Karen Lynne Marchese, and the late Joseph Marchese. Loving brother of Madeline Marchese and Anthony Marchese. Brother-in-law of Dorothy Deligney and Joan Koch. Cherished grandfather of Patricia Ann, Anthony Jr., Krista. Great-grandfather of 6.
