Obituary of Stanley Edward Shala

Stanley Edward Shala Jr., 66 Stanley Edward Shala Jr., 66, of West Orange passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. Graveside Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Ridgedale Ave. in East Hanover at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Stanley's name to: The Friendship Circle, Philadelphia Region South, 754 South 9th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147. Stanley was born in Shenandoah, PA, and lived the rest of his life in West Orange. He was a Controller working for Unity Fuel in Ridgefield Park. Stanley was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen Shala (nee Keaney). Loving son of Mary Shala and the late Stanley Sr. Devoted father of Kristen Shala McCann and her husband Ryan, Kaitlin Shala, and Karen Shala. Loving brother of Annie Shala, Patrick Shala, and brother-in-law of Maureen Keaney and Patricia Keaney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his companion Sally Fedkenheuer.
