Obituary of Daniel Petrucelli

Please share a memory of Daniel to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Daniel Petrucelli b. 8 - 12 - 1958 / d. 12 - 27 - 2024

Our beloved Danny has passed away. He is survived by his parents Daniel D. And Lucy J. [nee Russo] Petrucelli as well as his siblings James M. , Paula A. [nee O’Keefe], Donna M. and Michele M. Petrucelli. He loved and honored his nieces and nephews and Godchildren by displaying all their names proudly in tribute all over his body. Danielle McGovern and her husband Danny, Samantha Rubin and her husband Evan, Nicole Aurelio and her husband Vinnie,  William, Angelina, Gabrielle, James and Lorenze. He adored his great nephew Christopher and great nieces, Adeline, Hailey and Kira.

Danny loved classic cars, having been a Master Auto Mechanic for most of his life, if it had an engine, he could make it run or wanted to figure out how to make it go faster. He loved classic Rock and Roll and would gladly sing along to it. Usually loud and off key but that’s what made it special. And he loved great food and loved sharing that appreciation with others. He loved to cook & watch people enjoy his creations. He was funny. He always had that crooked, sly smile. Even as a kid. And he could dance like no other. He was a prolific chair dancer and could bring joy to a room just by seeing him laugh. He’d make you smile just by watching him smile! He had that way about him. His great big belly laugh was contagious and his generosity was boundless. He always knew how to help, and if he couldn’t fix something, he “knew a guy”! He was the guy you could be comfortable around just being silly or be just as comfortable with telling him your worries. Either way he was the guy you needed. And he was there for you and knew how to help. He didn’t say much but always was sharing himself with his larger than life presence.

His memory will forever bring joy. He will forever be missed. He will forever be loved. Our beloved Son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, godfather and friend Danny will forever be remembered as a man who loved and will forever be loved. Danny, thank you for all the years of laughter, joy & love you gave us. We are better people having had you in our lives. We love you Danny Boy. Rest easy big brother.
