Obituary of Kyle Joseph McNamara
It’s with a heavy heart to say that Kyle Joseph McNamara - beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend left us on Wednesday, August 21. 2024. Kyle’s charm and smile could light up a whole room and make anyone feel special. It was hard not to be captivated by Kyle’s great personality, fast talking story telling manner that was always entertaining. Kyle was fiercely loyal to his family and friends. Kyle was extremely proud of his Irish roots, the Jets and his dog Opie. After graduation from Freedom High School In Bethlehem PA, Kyle joined the United States Army where he served as a Calvary Scout in South Korea, Kuwat and lastly Kansas. His service was an honor to him, and the friends who became brothers were his greatest gift. Kyle was a member of Local 68 Operating Engineers Union; employed at St Barnabas medical Center in Livingston NJ. He was extremely proud to be a part of the local, following in his grandfathers, uncles and cousins’ footsteps. Kyle is survived by his loving parents Shawn McNamara and Sally Prior; cherished grandfather James Prior, devoted sisters Shaunie & Kelly McNamara, and his cherished nephews Mack, Finn and Brody Foust. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends – all whom adored him. Our hearts are shattered by his loss and will never fully heal, yet we are grateful to have loved and have been loved by Kyle. We take comfort knowing his cherished “Nanny” greeted him with welcome arms.
