Joseph Leo Dente

Joseph Leo Dente, 76, of West Orange, NJ, passed away on April 15, 2024, in Livingston, New Jersey. He was born on November 8, 1947, in Orange, NJ, to Olympia and Anthony Dente.

Joseph was a skilled airplane mechanic, having received his education from Teterboro School of Aeronautics. He dedicated his career to ensuring the safety and functionality of aircraft.

In his free time, Joseph enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. These hobbies brought him joy and relaxation throughout his life.

Joseph is survived by his son, Christian Dente, sister Louann Dente, brothers Anthony, Rocco, Frank, and Thomas Dente, sister Joni Wilbur, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Olympia and Anthony Dente, and his wife, Mary Kay Dente.

Memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday April23, 2024 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Dangler Funeral Hme of West Orange, 340 Main St. in West Orange.
