Obituary of Thomas Peter Hunt

Thomas Peter Hunt, 78 Thomas Peter Hunt, 78, of West Orange passed away on Thursday November 27, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday December 2, 2014 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street at 10:00. Then to Our Lady of the Valley Church, 510 Valley Road in Orange for the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be held on Monday from 4 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Thomas' name to Our Lady of the Valley Church, 510 Valley Road, Orange NJ 07050. Thomas was raised in Verona before moving to West Orange. He worked for the Township of West Orange in the Public Works Department. Thomas was a Union Representative for Public works AFSCME 3476. He was also a Democratic Representative for the County Committee. Mr. Hunt proudly served in the United States Navy. Thomas was the beloved husband of 46 years of Elizabeth Hunt (nee Juliano) devoted father of Thomas R., Christine Denbow and her husband Scott, Matthew S. and his wife Beth, and Donna Gruca and her husband Daniel. Loving brother of Edward Hunt and the late Harry and Joseph Hunt. Cherished grandfather of Madelyn and Julian. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Type Obit Here
