Thurman F. Williams, 66, of Morris Plains formerly of West Orange died on Sunday, February 18, 2024 after fighting a courageous battle with the flu.

Thurman was born and raised in West Orange, the son of Thurman and Edna Williams.  He was a graduate of West Orange Mountain High School and attended Seton Hall University. Thereafter he entered the hospitality industry where he made many friends for over forty years. Most recently he worked at Cryan’s, South Orange and Longfellow’s of Morristown where he greeted people with a smile every day.

Thurman is survived by his beloved daughter, Danielle, the center of his life, and her mother, Joanna; his brother Robert (Carole) and sister, Doris Konvalinka (Jiri).

The family will hold a celebration of life in the Spring later this year.  Cremation services were arranged with the assistance of the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange.
