Obituary of Thomas Earl Kernan

Thomas "Earl" Kernan, 84 Thomas "Earl" Kernan, 84, of West Orange passed away on Monday October 6, 2014. Visitation will be held on Friday October 10, 2014 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Followed by an 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at Saint John's Church, 94 Ridge Street in Orange. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Saint John's Church, 94 Ridge Street, Orange, NJ 07050. Earl was born and raised in Orange. A graduate of Orange High School. He was a Line Typesetter working for the Newark Evening News and The Star Ledger. Mr. Kernan proudly served in the United States Marines during the Korean War. Earl was the beloved son of the late Thomas and Genevieve Kernan. Loving brother of Barbara Kostibos and her husband James. Cherished uncle of Caroline Kriak, Colleen O'Sullivan and Ellen Corcoran. He is also survived by 10 great- nieces and nephews.
