Gloria Werner, 94

Gloria Werner (nee Cocozza) 94, of Union, formerly of Orange, passed away on Saturday August 5, 2023.

Visitation will be held on Thursday August 10, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St. in West Orange. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria’s name to ;St. Jude Children’s Research hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 stjude.org/memorial

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday August 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange.

Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover.

Gloria was born and raised in Orange, raising her family there before moving to Union 23 years ago. She was the Office Manager working for Whitney Associates Inc. in Orange for many years.

Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Lester Werner. Devoted mother of Steven (Joanne), Bruce, and Leslie Laurino and her late husband Joseph.  Loving sister of the late Angela Scarpa and Rose Cocozza. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Sean), Steven Jr., Danielle, Christopher (Abi), Joseph Jr., Leanne, Nicole, Jaclyn, and the late Thomas. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Milo, Rowan, Kira, Sydney, Theodora, and by several nieces and nephews.
