Virginia D. Carlucci (nee Mc Dermott) 86, of Montrose, Pa, formerly of West Orange died on Sunday April 16, 2023, at her home with her daughters by her side.

Visiting will be Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St. in West Orange.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to True Friends Animal Welfare Center, State Route 706 Montrose, Pa 18801 or West Orange Animal Welfare League, 311 Watchung Ave, West Orange, NJ 07052.

Mrs. Carlucci lived in West Orange for 69 years before moving to Montrose, Pa, in 2005. She was employed by the Orange Post Office for 18 years and then a School Crossing Guard for the Township of West Orange until retiring in 2003.

Mrs. Carlucci was the beloved wife of 53 years of the late Daniel P. Carlucci (2008); devoted mother of Daniel, Michael, Vincent, Raymond, Kevin and his wife, Ruth, Mary Krzywda and her husband, John and Jo Ellen Magdits and her husband, Mark. She was the cherished grandmother of Christopher, Cara and John Carlucci. Also, survived by her loving sister Elizabeth Shanahan and nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Daniel, parents John and Elizabeth Mc Dermott and her brother John (Mac).
