Philip Andrew Rizzo, 94, of Union passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.

Visitation will be held on October 29, 2022 from 2 to 4 PM at the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street West Orange, NJ 07052, with military services at 3:30. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Philip’s name to: St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142. Philip was born and raised in Brooklyn, before moving to Dunellen in 1968, then to Union in 1971. He worked as a supervisor for N.J. Bell out of Manhattan. Philip was a member of the Active Pioneers of America and the NRA.

Philip was the devoted husband of 72 years to the late Eva Rizzo (nee Gregory). Loving father of Kenneth Rizzo and his wife Donna, father-in-law of Albert Ulicny, he was predeceased by his daughter Donna Ulicny, and his son Peter Rizzo. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Matthew, Kyle, Alexandra, and James. Philip is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
