Philip A. McLaughlin Jr., 87, of West Orange passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.

Visitation will be held on July 10, 2022 from 2 to 6 PM at the Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street West Orange, NJ 07052. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, July 11, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange. Philip was born in Orange and raised in West Orange. He worked as a tree specialist for the Township of West Orange, then for the Essex County Park Commission, before retiring and becoming self-employed at McLaughlin Tree Service. Phillip was a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 40 years.

 Philip was the devoted father of Timothy & his wife Susan, Philip, Cathleen Curry & her husband Patrick, Maureen Rhoads & Greg, and Kevin. Cherished grandfather of Sarah, Ryan, Colleen, Brian, Haley, and Matthew. Loving great-grandfather of Emmie and Reece. Beloved brother of Margaret Lally, and the late Eugene McLaughlin, and the late Anna Mae Keohane.
