Please share a memory of Gladys to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Gladys Teresa Cusano, 83

Gladys Teresa Cusano (nee Fracchia) passed away suddenly in her home in Union, NJ on June 14, 2022.  Teresa was born in Montevideo, Uruguay with her 4 siblings Walter, Carlos, Odila, and Shirley Fracchia.  She immigrated to the United State in the late 60s with her husband Ovidio where she started to raise her family.  She had two amazing sons, Wilson and Steve, whom she cherished.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Hollywood Memorial Park,1500 Stuyvesant Avenue, Union, NJ 07083. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com.

Teresa worked as a seamstress for most of her life.  If you knew her, she most likely hemmed or sewed an item of clothing for you.  She was super talented and found great joy in making her grandchildren's Halloween costumes.  Ryan, Vaughn, and Brelyn were always in the most creative costumes.  She could whip up a pair of pants or a wedding dress in no time.  She never said no and was always willing to help save the day with a quick fix on the sewing machine.

Teresa is predeceased by her siblings Shirley and Odila Fracchia .  She is survived by her siblings Carlos Fracchia and wife Ana, and Walter Fracchia.  She was the devoted mother of Steve Cusano and his wife Kelli, Wilson Cusano and his wife Jean Doyle, and cherished grandmother of Brelyn Cusano, Vaughn Cusano and his wife Lucia, and Ryan Doyle and his wife Adrienne and great-grandmother to Genevieve and Killian Doyle.
