Obituary of Blanca S. Arrojo
Blanca S. Arrojo
Blanca S. Arrojo, most commonly known as “Mamer,” was born on January 11, 1936 to late Teresa De Ofelia Caballero Pacheco and Pedro Gorrio Medina in Pampas Tayacaja in Peru. Mamer lived in Peru the majority of her life until she moved to North Bergen, New Jersey, in December 1999. Mamer passed away on March 19, 2022, at the age of 86. Mamer left this earth surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.
Mamer was the foundation, the essence, and the binding force in our family. Mamer was small in size, but her big heart of gold left a significant mark on anyone who came in contact with her. Her fighting spirit, perseverance, and stubbornness got her through life.
Mamer loved life. She danced, laughed, and enjoyed the silly moments of life. Her sense of humor was epic. She loved to travel and see the world. Whenever she could go on an adventure, she would participate without hesitation.
Mamer continually supported every one of her children and grandchildren and always had good advice to give to anyone who asked.
With Mamer’s departure, the family is left to pick up the pieces, regroup and continue her legacy. Sometimes people ask, what is a good age to go, but, unfortunately, such a response does not exist. No one will ever be ready or know how to deal with a loved one's departure. There are no words to describe the family's emptiness, pain, and sorrow with her unexpected departure.
We can still see you sitting in the kitchen, enjoying and suffering with the characters in all the telenovelas. There were so many more things to say, more things to do, and more places to go. Now that you are gone, nothing will ever be the same. The family will miss you terribly, but we know that your love for us will always be there. The family is comfortable knowing that you are with God, our creator, our Blessed Mother, your parents, and your brother.
One day we will all be together again and feel your warm, loving hugs for eternity.
Rest in peace Mamer
