Frederick Arthur Wright, 92

Frederick Arthur Wright, 92, of West Orange passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 at home, surrounded by his loving family.  

Visiting will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. (Military Honors will take place at 6:00 PM and the Funeral Services at 7:30 PM) at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange. Fred was born in Glen Ridge and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. A retired Deputy Chief of the West Orange Fire Department, he was a member of Local 228 FMBA and an avid golfer. Mr. Wright proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.

Fred was the beloved husband of the late Loretta Wright (nee Mooney). Devoted father of Barry and his wife Helen, and the late Maureen Vander Velde, father-in law of Kenneth. Loving brother of  Alfred Wright. Cherished grandfather of Sean, Matthew, Ashley, and Caitlin.
