Lerna Lizama, (nee Rogan),71, of  Orange passed away tragically on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.    

Visiting will be held on Thursday & Friday, November 18^th & 19th, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM both nights at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Valley Church, 510 Valley Street in Orange. Cremation will be private.  

Lerna was born and raised in General Santos City in the Philippines, before moving to Orange NJ in 2007. She was a home maker. Lerna was a devout parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley Church in Orange, where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society, Health and Wellness Club, a Eucharistic Minister, Choir Member and a Lector. She has been a devotee of the Divine Mercy and the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was called by so many as the “PRAYER WARRIOR.” She served the church every day before the pandemic.

Lerna was the beloved wife of the late Captain James P. Colendres, and the late Juan Lizama of Guam. Devoted mother of Lorraine Colendres, Jacklyn Colendres, and James Colendres II. Loving sister of Henry Rogan, Rayland Rogan, Isagani Rogan, and the late Nellie, Ellie, and Edna. She is also survived my many nieces and nephews.
