Joan Marilyn O'Connor, (nee Canning), 78, of West Orange passed away on Saturday May 17, 2014.
A private Funeral Service will be held at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street West Orange. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com.
Joan was born in Montclair and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. She worked at Montclair State College for over 20 years.
Joan was the beloved wife of the late Thomas O'Connor. Devoted mother of Therese Shauger and her husband Herman, Thomas O'Connor and his companion Daniel DeMarco, and Michael O'Connor and his wife Christina. Loving sister of David Canning and the late Russell Canning. Cherished grandmother of Lauren, Michael, Christopher, Michael James and Matthew.
