Patrick Francis Ward Sr., 75
Patrick F. Ward Sr., 75, of West Orange passed away on Thursday May 14, 2014 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday May 19, 2014 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange at 8:30AM. Then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Patrick's name to the North Jersey Blood Center, 401 Pleasant Valley Way, West Orange, NJ 07052.
Patrick was born and raised in Orange moving to West Orange 50 years ago. He was a Stationary Engineer working for Operating Engineers Local #68 in West Caldwell. Patrick was a member of the American Legion Post 201. Mr. Ward proudly served in the United States Navy from 1956 to 1964.
Patrick was the beloved wife of 51 years of VirJeane Ward (nee Nelles). Devoted father of Caias Ward and his wife Christine Berni, and the late Patrick F. Ward Jr. Loving brother of Joseph Ward, Joan Ward, Arlene Ward, Elsie Adams, Dorothy Ward, George Ward and the late Edward Ward and June Antonucci. Cherished grandfather of Kaylee Holliday Ward-Berni.
