Gertrude Emma Ludwig, 83 - Gertrude E. Ludwig (nee Hewitt) of East Hanover formerly of West Orange died on Friday April 30, 2010 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday May 5, 2010 at Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street, West Orange at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Orange. Visiting will be Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mrs. Ludwig was born and raised in West Orange moving to East Hanover 6 years ago. She was an Assembler working for Bates Manufacturing in Orange for 25 years before retiring in 1992. Mrs. Ludwig was a member of the Eastern Star and the Toby Katz Center in West Orange. Mrs. Ludwig was the beloved wife of the late Harry Ludwig. Devoted mother of Karen E. Martucci and her husband Anthony M. . Loving sister of Raymond Hewitt and Anne Leininger. Cherished grandmother of Kathy Brozyna and her husband Corey, Cindy Reyes and her husband Chris and Tommy. Great grandmother of Jake, Nolan, Lily and Christopher. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Gertrude E. Ludwig to the St. Barnabas Foundation, to be used for the ICU and CCU,93 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039.
