Anna Belle McMahon, 82

Anna Belle McMahon (nee Theis), 82, of West Orange NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2020. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., daughter of John and Thelma, she moved to her husband’s hometown after he was discharged from the service, 63 years ago, where they raised their 4 children. Anna was a homemaker and active in her United Presbyterian Church, always volunteering her time.

Anna was predeceased by her parents, beloved husband Patrick and son Patrick Jr., and John and Lois McMahon. She leaves behind her sons, Michael and Rich (Eileen) and daughter Christine, her siblings John Jr. and Betty, sister in laws Marie (George) and Alice Ploransky (George), 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Visiting will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St. in West Orange.  At the family’s request, please wear colorful clothes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anna’s name to; St. Jude Childrens Research hospital, 501 St Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959 Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at 10:00 AM at United Presbyterian Church, 20 Old Indian Rd. in West Orange. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover.

During the COVID 19 pandemic, all persons entering the Funeral Home will be required to wear a face mask or face covering throughout their stay. Likewise, all social distancing rules must be adhered to. Gathering together in groups should not happen. A continued flow throughout the facility will aid in keeping all of us safe, with everyone having an opportunity to pay their respects.
