Paul Balanche, 70 - Paul Balanche of West Orange died on Friday February 5, 2010 at his home in West Orange. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 9, 2010 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street at 8:30 AM then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will be private. Visiting will be Monday 3-7 PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Mr. Balanche was born in Orange and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. He served on the Essex County Police Department for 35 years, retiring as Sergeant in 2000. He was a member of the Essex County Police PBA Local #54, and the West Orange Elks BPOE #1590. Mr. Balanche served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960. Mr. Balanche was the beloved husband of Isabel Balanche (nee Thornton). Devoted father of Jean Racaniello and her husband Rocco and Tara Balanche. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Joseph, Anthony and Brianna.
