Pauline De Rose, 103 - Pauline De Rose of West Orange passed away on Sunday February 6, 2011 at Inglemoor Care Center in Livingston. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday February 10, 2011 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street at 8:30 AM then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church 1 Eagle Rock Avenue for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be Wednesday 2 - 5 PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis TN 38105-1905. Mrs. De Rose was born in New York City to John and Anna Lejcar, she moved with her parents and younger sister to Linden, NJ until she married in 1931, then to Orange and in 1940 to West Orange then entering Inglemoor in 2009. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Catholic Daughters and Rosary Altar Society. She also, and been secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion in Orange. Pauline was a homemaker and loved to entertain family and friends. She was a wonderful baker especially of pie, fruitcake, stollen cookies and strudel. She excelled in crocheting and embroidery. She enjoyed her many different part time jobs and helping others. Pauline loved vacationing especially in Bermuda, Virgin Islands, Florida, Spring Lake and Wildwood Crest, NJ. Mrs. De Rose was predeceased in 1976 by her beloved husband of 45 years, Anthony "Jack" De Rose and her sister, Helen Montalbano in 2003. She leaved behind a daughter, Barbara De Rose
