Obituary of Muriel W. Chandler

Muriel W. Chandler - Muriel W. Chandler (nee Geever) of West Orange died on Monday October 5, 2009 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. Funeral Services will be held on Friday October 9, 2009 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street at 8:30 AM then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield. Visiting will be Thursday 3-7PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Mrs. Chandler was born and raised in Orange, lived in Toronto and then West Orange for 50 years. She worked in sales and retail working for Annie Sez in Milburn of 20 years before retiring in 2001. Mrs. Chandler was a member as well as the Past Regent of the Catholic Daughters of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and the President of the Our Lady of Lourdes Church Rosary Altar Society, the West Orange Senior Citizens and she also worked on the Election Polls. Mrs. Chandler was the beloved wife of the late Theodore Chandler. Devoted mother of Steven G., Rev. Theodore Chandler and Dorothy Johnson. Loving sister of the late William J. Geever and loving sister in law of Jane C. Geever. Cherished grandmother of Diana Lyn and Sean McCarthy and loving Aunt of Jane C. Geever and the late Gordon Geever.
