Gerard Torlucci - Gerard P. Torlucci of West Orange died on Thursday August 20, 2009 at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Wayne. Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 24, 2009 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street at 8:30 AM then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover. Visiting will be Sunday 3-7 PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Mr. Torlucci was born and raised in Newark before moving to West Orange in 1949. Mr. Torlucci was self employed owning and operating Excel Home Modernizers in West Orange for 30 years. He was a member of the West Orange Knights Council 5519, the Orange and West Orange UNICO, and the Newark Bait & Fly Casting Club. Mr. Torlucci was the beloved husband of Josephine Torlucci (nee Tarantino). Devoted father of Gerard and his wife Susan, and Joanne Rogers. Loving brother of Lee Damato and her husband Fred, and the late Jimmy, Joe, Patsy, Mary and Tessie. Cherished grandfather of Carla, Ronald, Nicole and Marisa.
