Margherita La Banca, 95 - Margherita La Banca (nee Matinata) of West Orange passed away on Tuesday February 1, 2011 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 8 , 2011 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street at 9:00 AM then to Saint John's Church in Orange for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be Monday 3-7 PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Mrs. La Banca was born in Brazil and lived her adult life in Italy and the United States. She was a Seamstress and a Homemaker. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society 767 Northfield Avenue West Orange, NJ 07052. Mrs. La Banca was predeceased by her husband the late Nicola La Banca. Devoted mother of Domenico and his wife Aurora, Antonio and his wife Olga, Bruno, Frank and the late Vincenzo. Survived by her are sisters: Michelina, Imacolata and Mafalda. Cherished grandmother of Eliana, Sandra, Domenick Jr., Vinny, Nicholas, Anthony Jr., Luciana, Bobby, Becky, Betsy, Brandon and Pino La Banca, Brianna Kehler, Gina Gombas, Julia Moscetti, Francine Tapia, Rita Suanno and Vincenzina Celano. Also survived by 32 great grandchildren.
