Allan John Jones Sr., 86

Allan J. Jones Sr., 86, of Pocono Lakes PA, formerly of West Orange, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019.

 Visiting will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange (340 Main Street, West Orange) from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Allan’s name to; Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Our Lady of the Valley Church (510 Valley Street, Orange) at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.

Allan  was born and raised in Pennsylvania, lived Orange, Roseland, and his adult life in West Orange. He was a Milk Man working for Welsh Farms in West Caldwell. Mr. Jones proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  Allan loved spending time with his family, playing golf and watching his Giants and Mets teams.

Allan was the beloved husband of 62 years of Theresa Marie Jones (nee Allan). Devoted father of Allan Jr. and his wife Debbie, Robert and his wife Barbara, Michael and his wife Maryann, Karen Bursese and her husband Salvatore, and Debbie Capozzoli and her husband Pasquale. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Bryan, Samantha, Erin, Amanda, Joseph, Sam, Emilio, Dante, and Pasquale Jr.
