Richard Joseph McDonald Sr. - Richard J. McDonald Sr. passed away on Monday June 1, 2009 at his home in West Orange. Funeral Services will be held Thursday June 4, 2009 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street West Orange at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at The Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be Wednesday 4-8 PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Mr. McDonald was born and raised in Orange, moving to West Orange 35 years ago. He was a Letter Carrier working for the Montclair Postal Office of 28 years before retiring in 2006. Mr. McDonald was the beloved husband of Sandra McDonald (nee Lomelo). . Devoted father of James, George, Bette Jean McDonald and Richard Jr. Loving brother of Edward. Cherished grandfather of George and Tyler. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Memorial and Honor Program-F St Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis TN 38105-1905
