Frances G. Clarke, 93

Frances Clarke (nee De Sarno), 93, “Aunt Jenny” of West Orange passed away on Wednesday November 21, 2018.  

Visiting will be held on Sunday November 25, 2018 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange from 2:00 to 6:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers donations in Aunt Jenny’s name may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital P.O. Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis TN 38101-9908.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday November 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave. in East Hanover.

Frances was born and raised in Newark, living in West Orange for many years. She was a secretary working for REMCO toys in Harrison. Frances was a devoted parishioner and member of the Rosary Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in West Orange.  

Frances was the beloved wife of the late Walter Clarke. Cherished sister of Geraldine Feula and the late Anna Mone, Salvatore De Sarno, Phillip De Sarno, Angela Palumbo, Frank De Sarno, Rose Macera, and Josephine Murtagh.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
