Dennis Lee Linder, 70
Dennis Lee Linder, 70, of West Orange passed away on Saturday November 3, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday December 1, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, with the Services at 2:20 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dennis’ name to; Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
Dennis was born in Allentown, PA, raised in New Jersey, moving to West Orange when married. He was a Printer, working for Bowne Business Communications in Secaucus. He was a member of the VVA Chapter 510, and the VFW Post 6255 in Cedar Grove. Dennis proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. While in the service he was awarded with the Purple Heart, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman Badge, Army Commendation Medal, and the NJ Distinguished Service Medal.
Dennis was the beloved husband of 32 years to Linda Linder (nee Longo). Devoted father of Shannon Mary Linder. Cherished brother of Ralph Jr., Paul Raymond, Richard, Jennifer Mules, and Sam Kenyon. Loving step-brother of Teresa Larson and EricLarson. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
