Janet Carden - Janet Carden (nee) Del Plato Loving mother of Stephen Carden. Devoted sister of Florence Dandola, Nora DeRosa and the late Lawrence Del Plato. Precious "Aunt Janey" to 10 nieces and nephews and 18 grand nieces and nephews. Lifelong resident in her home in West Orange. She worked for Verizon for 41 years as a customer service manager. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and her time at her vacation home in Manahawkin, NJ. She was loved and respected by all that knew her. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday May 21, 2009 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street at 9:00 AM then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church 1 Eagle Rock Avenue West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be Tuesday 7-9 PM & Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com.
