After rejecting me for a teaching position Mary called me two weeks later. She had reconsidored and wanted to take a chance with me. Working alongside Mary at the FDU PTA program was a very wonderful and rewarding experience, as well as a big learning experience, which made me a better PT. I grew into the teaching, which I loved ( as I had expected) She was an inspiring person who , by taking a chance on me, had a big impact on my career. RIP Dear Mary. My condolences to George, her two sons and daughters in law, her grandchildren and the rest of her family.

Mary hired me as a PT assistant at Morristown in 1985 and encouraged me when I went back to PT school a few years later. She took the concept of “mentor “ to a new level. No exaggeration to say I would not have achieved half of what I have done in my career without her. She was the biggest professional influence for so many therapists over a lot of years.
My deepest sympathies to her beloved George and family. Rest In Peace Mary.

I knew Mary from working at the Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute for many years. She was always dedicated to her profession and committed to helping others. Mary was truly instrumental in the reactivation of my NJ PT license in 2014 following my move from Nevada to be with my mother who was battling cancer. Her guidance and compassion will always be appreciated. My sincere condolences to the family.

Mary hired me when I first started at MMC/Atlantic Health, back then it was known as Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was one of my first mentors. She encouraged me to teach in the FDU PTA program when she was the Director and to continue to be involved in the profession. To this day, I enjoy teaching and love being a PT. I have Mary to thank for that.
RIP Mary.
Sincere condolences to George and your family.
