Obituary of Edna Drudy

Edna Drudy, 87

Edna Drudy (nee Miller), 87, of West Orange passed away on Wednesday July 11, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.  

Visiting will be held on Monday July 16, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange.     In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to: Alzheimer’s Association, 322 West 52^nd Street, Suite 100, New York, NY 10101.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday July 17, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.     

Edna was born and raised in Newark before moving to West Orange 65 years ago. She was a Registered Nurse working for East Orange General Hospital. Edna Graduated from Our Lady of the Valley High School and St. Vincent’s Nursing School in Manhattan NY.

Edna was the beloved wife of the late Peter Drudy Jr. Devoted mother of Patricia Drudy, Peter P. and his wife Marina, and Margaret Drudy and her husband Gregory Vardi.  Loving sister of Doris Molter. Cherished Grandmother of Erin, Hudson, Allison and Megan.
