Obituary of William James Pringle

William J. "Bill" Pringle Jr., 86 - William J. "Bill" Pringle, 86, of West Orange passed away on Friday January 10, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on Monday January 13, 2014 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange at 8:30 AM, then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., in West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 225 Ridgedale Avenue in East Hanover. Visiting will be Sunday from 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142. William was born and raised in Orange moving to West Orange where he has lived for the past 61 years. Bill worked as a Supervisor for the West Orange Board of Education. Prior to that he owned and operated Pringle Auto Top in West Orange. Mr. Pringle proudly served in the United States Navy. Bill was the beloved husband of the late Gertrude "Sis" (nee McQuoid). Devoted father of Linda Giambattista and the late Fugi, Cheryl Guagenti and her husband Casey and William James "Billy" and his wife Marie. Loving brother of Peggy Radler and the late Thomas Pringle and Mary Riker. Cherished grandfather of Andrea, Nicholas and Michelle. Great-grandfather of John Joseph. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
