Obituary of Anna Angelina Ferrara

Anna Angelina Ferrara, 87

 

Anna Angelina Ferrara, (nee Corvino),87, of West Orange passed away on Tuesday May 22, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  

 

Visiting will be held on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to: Tribute Program, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142 and March of Dimes National Office, 1275 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, NY 10605.

 

A Funeral Mass will be offered on  Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange, NJ 07052. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover.

 

Anna was born in Newark NJ, to the late Alfonso and Rose (nee Grillo) Corvino.  She was raised in Orange, NJ and lived in West Orange NJ since 1969.  Anna was the supervisor of Markal Decal in Montclair, NJ for over 25 years before retiring in 1990. Family was Anna’s greatest passion. She loved family gatherings and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Anna had a heart of gold, dedicating her life helping and caring for loved ones. In her spare time she loved to play bingo.

 

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Martin Ferrara, son Anthony Ferrara and his wife Diana, Grandson Jonathan Ferrara, devoted brothers Joseph, Angelo, Armando, Tony and Albert Corvino, and sisters Theresa Coccuzza, Philomena Long, Mary Grapentine, Matilda (Dolly) DeBellonia, Adeline Murphy, Helen Borea, Geraldine Swan, and Rose Tasso.

 

She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her loving brother Nicholas (Carol) Corvino, her children; Martin (Gina) Ferrara, Albert Ferrara, Rose (late Brian) Boyle, Donna (Vincent) Fucci, Teresa Ferrara, 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
