Emil Lundell, 98 - Emil Lundell 98, passed away on Friday October 18, 2013 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday October 22, 2013 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange at 10:00 AM, then to Our Lady of The Valley Church, 510 Valley Street in Orange for the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 225 Ridgedale Avenue in East Hanover. Visiting will be Monday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Emil's name to Our Lady of The Valley Church 510 Valley Street Orange, NJ 07050. Emil was born and raised in Summit living in Orange before moving to West Orange 8 years ago. He was the manager of Don's Drive-In in Livingston for many years. He was a proud member of the Portland -St. Alban Commandery #2 Knights Templar of Portland Maine. He was active in Our Lady of the Valley Parish working as a volunteer handyman, and gardener. Emil loved classical music and was an avid reader as well as a joke and story teller. Emil was the beloved husband of 40 years of Eulalia "Lou" (nee Pepe) Lundell. Devoted stepfather of Sam Bleier and his wife Charlotte, Carol Moskowitz and her husband Joel, Lorraine Minniti and her husband Anthony and Joseph Cicarone and his wife Gae. Loving grandfather of Joseph and his wife Anna, Frank and his wife Stella and Matthew. Cherished great grandfather of Joseph, Sofia, and Marianne.
