Frances Gabrielle "Gaby" Gruszczynski, 75 - Frances "Gaby" Gruszczynski (nee Sidwa), 75, of West Orange passed away on Friday May 31, 2013. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday June 4, 2013 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange at 8:30 AM. Then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gaby's name to: Saint Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center 95 Old Short Hills Road, 1st Fl West Orange, NJ 07052 Gaby was born in Irvington and raised in Newark before moving to West Orange. She was a Teacher for 35 years, working for the Kearny Board of Education. Prior to teaching in Kearny, she taught 8th Grade at Our Lady of Lourdes School in West Orange. Gaby was the beloved wife of 50 years of Joseph S. Gruszczynski. Devoted mother of Valerie Schoen and her husband Joseph, and Elaine Leventhal and her husband David. Loving sister of Christine Soares and the late Carol Paynter. Cherished grandmother of Talia and Alexander.
