Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Crum,87 - Mary Elizabeth "Betty "Crum 87 of Brick, NJ of Brick formerly of West Orange passed away on Thursday May 9, 2013. Funeral Services will be held on Monday May 13, 2013 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange at 8:30 AM, then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., in West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 25 Ridgedale Avenue East Hanover. Visiting will be Sunday 3-7 PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Betty was born in West Orange and raised in Newark, then living in West Orange before moving to Brick 5 years ago. Betty was the Business Manager at Far Brook School in Short Hills for many year. Prior to her years at Far Brook she was a librarian at Our Lady of Lourdes School. Betty was an active member of the Catholic Daughters, the Rosary Altar Society both at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Betty was the wife of the late Douglas Crum. Devoted mother of William and his wife Kathleen, Catherine Sandler and her husband Fred. Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth Mazzarisi.
