Obituary of Louis Nicholas Ripa

Louis Nicholas Ripa, 76 - Louis Nicholas Ripa, 76,of Toms River, born August 18, 1936 formerly of West Orange was called home to the Lord on March 29, 2013. Lou was born and raised in Orange, raising his family in West Orange before moving to Toms River. He was a retired New Jersey Transit Bus Operator and also worked at Eckerd's Drugstore. Lou proudly served his country serving in the United States Army as a PRC for 4 years. He was a member of the Silver Ridge North Men's Club. Louis was the beloved husband of 51 years of Joanne Ripa (nee Sautto). Devoted father of LuAnn Grasso her husband Jerry his son Nicholas and wife Mary Ann. His greatest pride and joy were his grandchildren who he cherished more than anything, Deanna, Jerry, Kimberly, and Louie. Loving brother of Anita Martin her husband Jerry, and loving Son in Law of Mazie Sautto. He was also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews who loved him dearly, especially the Knuckleheads. Louis is predeceased by his sister Joann. The memory of his kind heartedness and laughter will remain in the hearts of everyone whose lives he touched. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday April 3, 2013 at 9:00 AM at The Dangler Funeral Home, 340 Main Street, West Orange then 10:00 AM at Saint Raphael's Church 346 East Mount Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ 07039. Visiting will be Tuesday April 2, 2013 from 3-7 PM.
