Obituary of Joan R. Boyle

Joan R. Boyle, 79 - Boyle, Joan (nee Lind) of West Orange passed away on Sunday November 21, 2010 at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday November 24, 2010 at 9:00 AM at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange 340 Main Street then to Holy Trinity Church, 315 Main Street West Orange for the funeral services at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Mrs. Boyle was born in Newark and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. She was a Home Maker. Mrs. Boyle was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in West Orange, where she was also a Sunday School Teacher, Vestry Member, Recording Secretary, Thrift Shop Volunteer, and a Lay Reader. Mrs. Boyle was the Recipient of the David Paul Hegg II Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005 for outstanding work for the Church & Community. She was also a Brownie Leader and an avid reader and gardener. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 315 Main Street, West Orange, NJ 07052. Mrs. Boyle was the beloved wife of 57 years of James J. Boyle. Devoted mother of Dennis, Nancy Bolles and her husband Albie, Stephen, and Jeffrey. Loving sister of Arline Ennis. Cherished grandmother of Dennis Jr., Katie, Erika, Amanda, Tyler, Adam and Megan. Also survived by many nephews.
