Martin Roy Thorn, 66 - Martin Roy Thorn, 66 Martin R. Thorn, 66, of West Orange, passed away on Monday November 12, 2012 . Funeral Services will be held on Friday November 16, 2012 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street in West Orange at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be today, Thursday, from 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers the family will be accepting donations. Martin was born and raised in Newark before moving to West Orange. He was a Bus Driver working for Progressive Tours in Irvington for 30 years. He was a member of the New Jersey Hall of Fame as well as the Essex County Hall of Fame for Bowling, and the American Legion Post # 0185. Mr. Thorn proudly served in the United States Air Force. Martin was the devoted father of Jennifer Vacca-Pepitone, Jonathan, and Michele Thorn. Cherished grandfather of 5.
