"Fugi" Anthony Daniel Giambattista, 65 - Anthony Daniel Giambattista, "Fugi", 65, of West Orange,entered into eternal life on Monday, September 10, 2012, from his home surrounded by his loving family. Fugi was born and lived in Orange, moving to West Orange in his earlier years. An avid collector, excellent chef, passionate artist,music and movie lover, "and a dancer". He was the Owner and Operator of The Circle Deli in Livingston, The Brook Tavern in West Orange,and The Town Grill in Orange, to name a few. Fugi was a member of the Orange Elks, the West Orange Elks,The Orange Civic League, and The Harbor Lights Society of New England. Fugi was the beloved husband,companion, and best friend of Linda Giambattista (nee Pringle) for 40 years. Devoted father of Andrea Giambattista-Barbaro and her husband John, and Nicholas Giambattista and his fiancee Christie Grivner. Cherished grandfather of John Joseph Barbaro Jr., his best little first mate. Friend to all,loved by all,unique beyond words, captain of his own life, and a man who truly knew that all the wealth and comfort in this world was his family."Good men must die, but death cannot kill their names". Visiting will be held at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street,Thursday, September 13th, 2012, from 4-9 PM. Services will be held on Friday, September 14th, 2012 at The Dangler Funeral Home at 8:30 AM then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave. in West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at The Gates of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Fugi's name to the Memorial and Honor Program-F St Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN 38105-1905
