Obituary of Nora McGeough

Nora McGeough, 77 - Nora Mary McGeough (nee McNulty) of West Orange passed away on Saturday June 23, 2012. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday June 27, 2012 at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main Street, West Orange at 8:30 AM then to Our Lady of Lourdes Church 1 Eagle Rock Avenue West Orange for the Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 740 Broad Street Shrewsbury, NJ 07702. Nora was born and raised in Millstreet, County Cork Ireland and lived in Toronto, where she met and married her husband, they lived in Orange before settling in West Orange 40 years ago. After raising her family she went back to work, working in Admitting at Orange Memorial Hospital in Orange for 10 years. She was a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in West Orange. Nora was the beloved wife of the late Thomas McGeough. Devoted mother of Noreen McGeough, Rose McGeough, Tommy McGeough and his wife Allyson and the late Patrick John McGeough and Mary Anne Tuite. Cherished Grandmother of Tom, Katrina, John, Janey, Liam, Tyler and Evan. She is also survived by her best friend Evelyn Bermingham, her loving caregiver Sandy Talbot and many family and friends in the United States, Canada and Ireland.
